Manjaro 64bit

I installed confluence as a service (as root), but it does not auto-start.  Have I made a mistake or does it need to be done manually

Hi John,

I understand you installed Confluence on Linux (Manjaro) using the installer method and during the install you chose to start it as a service. However, it does not start as a service when you restart the OS as you would expect. As far as what may have been done differently, you may check your steps against: Installing Confluence on Linux

If all else is well, I would not be too concerned that it is not auto-starting after running the installer. You can set that up after the installation by following: Start Confluence Automatically on Linux

Thanks,

Ann
