Hi All,

We have a confluence data center where there are 500 spaces, now we are migrating only 50 spaces to another data center. what is the procedure for migrating only 50 spaces to the new data center and what are the glitches we can face while migrating spaces and any issues we may face in migrated spaces. Please give your inputs on these.

Thanks in Advance.

The best way to migrate a space from one Confluence to another is a simple export space, import space cycle.

You don't need the source and target to be close in versions or underlying tech

You can export from server, cloud, or dc and import into any of those three irrespective of source.

You can export from 4.x and have a good chance of it working fine when importing into 7.x, although you should probably expect some of the imported pages to not work quite right.  6.x to 7.x or Cloud won't be an issue.
