Confluence - macro adding or editing does not work

I am creating a template in my Cloud Confluence environment.

Adding a macro does not work. When I select a macro the pop-up screen does start, you can add the details and configure but preview as well as the button insert gives an blank (empty) result.

When I copy the macro from another template the edit button does not respond. The edit window won't open.

Suggestions what I could do to solve this issue?

As I understand, a specific macro is not being correctly inserted into your instance. Is that correct?

Could you clarify a few points for us:

1- Are you creating a page when this happens?
2- Are you creating a page using a template when this happens?
3- Are you trying to create a new custom template for your instance?
4- Is this present in any browser?
5- is this present in incognito / private mode?
6- Were you able to perform this previously?
7- Is this affecting other users as well?
8- What macro are you trying to insert?
9- Are you able to insert other macros?

Also, would it be possible for you to try and insert other macro and check if that works?
