Confluence introduces blank lines on save

When I am working on a document, I find it frustrating that Confluence introduces blank lines when I save the document.

•  Provide us a screenshot of the page
• Does the issue happen on all or specific browser?
• Does the page have a table?

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, can;t supply a screenshot as it's a company confidential document. Browser in use is Chrome. No tables.
