Hi Confluence team!
I just found an article:
https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Confluence-articles/Confluence-integration-with-Google-Meet-is-live/ba-p/2460440
In the comments section there are questions that had been unanswered till this day.
I just came across this feature, although I am failing to see a benefit of using it without two challenges being addressed (mentioned already by other users)
- option to choose where I'd like to save my meeting notes, instead of by default, it being saved on my personal space;
- option to search for a page that I'd like to share on the meeting, instead of seeing only recently created ones.
I do not understand how this add-on is any different from me just sharing my screen during the meeting.
So just wanted to ask, is this something that is on your roadmap? Or this add on is going to stay in the form that exists now?
Thank you!
@Anna Waligorska Welcome to the Atlassian community
I was not able to find anything on the Cloud roadmap or in the enhancement requests. I think the benefit of having the integration is it allows users on the meeting to quickly jump into Confluence without having to leave the meeting by opening a new browser tab. You do not have to share it with others, but you could. You should give it a try and see if you like it.
Thank you for checking!
