Confluence drag & drop files from a daughter page to a parent page does not work

Darg & drop files from a current page to a master page does not work

I have two macro's of darg & drop inserted in a page, the first, attached to a master page and the other attached to the current page.
With Click button i select file and attachment on the master page and this is reflected, but when I do the darg & drop file is attached to the current page

Is there a solution to this?

Hi,

the drag & drop function of the Attachment macro (I guess this is the macro you're using as there is no macro named drag&drop in Confluence), is for physical files on your PC/Notebook/Network drive... It cannot be used to move/copy files from one page to another.

There is no need to move/copy the file around as you can easily refer to a file on the master page from the current page. The file doesn't even has to be in the same space. It can be stored in any space/page you like & still be shown on the current page.
