confluence Ability to migrate Users/Groups from One User Directory to Another

We are upgrading Confluence from v4.2 to v5.5.4 and changing our Directory from Apple Open SSL to Active Directory. What is the process for migrating Users and Groups from one Directory to another?

Unfortunately, for now Confluence does not have such feature. We do have a new feature request here:

Please vote on it to raise the popularity of it. Another method is to introdude Crowd into your environment and use it to integrate with Open SSL.
