I created Confluence on our site soon after I set up Jira. It has various documentation on it. I have been off on Maternity leave, but did regular Keep In Touch days and made sure I logged into Jira if I received an email saying it hadn't been used. We are using the free tier.
When I try to get to Confluence now, all I get is a message saying "Unable to add app". I searched for this in the community and there is another similar post with an answer that said it looked like the Confluence site had been soft deleted and was waiting for full deletion.
If that is the case here, is there anyway to get the Confluence site back, as I need that documentation and don't know why it would have been deleted without warning? I never received any emails saying Confluence was due for deletion.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @Coral
Greetings!!
Welcome to Atlassian community!!
I understand that due to inactivity your confluence instance has been deactivated.
Though you cannot raise a support ticket you can raise a billing request with our accounts team from here https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/ who can verify your instance status and considering the data retention period and if its less than 60days post deactivation they will help you with the reactivation of confluence cloud app.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
Vishalakshi Narayanaswamy
Hi @Coral
As @Alex Koxaras -Relational- mentioned, you can use the link, but choose the Billing option, here you can always raise an issue.
for now I have asked for assistance of Atlassian Support for you, it can take 48 hours for them to get back to you.

Hi @Coral
Your best chance is to contact atlassian's support https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
Is your primary instance free or paid?

Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned in my post, we are using a free instance. Generally, it's just me using it, with perhaps one or two extra people sometimes.
However, as it's a free instance, that support link isn't available to us :-(

Sorry Coral, I didn't see that specific sentence. Marc has already asked for help, and someone from Atlassian will reply to you and see your issue.
