I am new to Atlassian's tools (moving from SharePoint). Rookie question: What is the difference between CONFLUENCE SPACES and HORIZONS SPACES. I am pretty sure this subject has been covered before, please my apologies if that is the case.

Hi @Frankie Gonzalez Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Space is a place in your Confluence, in which you can put related things, such as content, pages, and documents. Spaces provide you with the opportunity to collaborate on a project with your team or a group of people.
Each space has its own permissions, which assign administrator access or other privileges to individual users. You can create as many Confluence spaces as you want, and then archive or delete them later as needed.

Horizon Space :- I think it's Space which is created in your Confluence. It's not an another application like Confluence.
Thanks,
