Confluence, Shortcode to display current user logged in

Hello,

Several users share the one computer. Is there a shortcode I can put in the template which reads, "The current user is <insert name of logged in user>"?

Hi @Steve welcome to community.

you can use the User List Macro for showing who is online  - but that only depends on group membership. 

Or do you want to show who is working on the current page? In Confluence you there is the possibiliy of Collaborative Editing. Up to 12 people can edit the same page at the same time.

I'm not after a complete list of online users, I'm only want to display the username of the actual person logged in.

Hi Steven,

you will always see the profile pic of the currently logged in user on the top right corner.

Wouldn't it be easier if the people would just log out or to give them anonymous access?
