We go into the logs and see a problem with the synchrony.pid.

delete also the following:

  • <confluence-home>/bundled-plugins
  • <confluence-home>/plugins-cache
  • <confluence-home>/plugins-osgi-cache
  • <confluence-home>/plugins-temp

Stop the server, delete the files, it recreates it, restart the server.
It might stay started for a few days then stop again.
The only changes recently, we purchased the 10 user license,
updated one of the add ons.

Since install, which is only a few weeks, we have had hiccups.  Not sure why.

Hi @Kathy Reid ,

If you are seeing issues with synchrony then you might be experiencing issues with Collaborative Editing, therefore I would suggest you on having a look at Troubleshooting Collaborative Editing.

If you continue on experiencing issues, then contact Atlassian Support and provide them with:

  1. Full Support Zip.
  2. Details of any networking configuration that Confluence is running on, with its configuration files.
  3. HAR file which has been generated while replicating the issue with the editor not loading.

Kind regards,
Rafael
