Hello,

I'm looking for information as to what version of Confluence is needed to support outbound emailing over Oauth?
When searching online, I've found clear info in Atlassian docs as to what version of Jira is required to support it, but on this Atlassian blog post there is no mention of what versions of Confluence will support email providers that will require Oauth authentication for inbound/outbound email.

Cheers,
Jake

Hi @Jake Rapinett ,

Currently Confluence Server does not support OAuth for email. There is currently an open feature request at CONFSERVER-60017 about adding OAuth support. I would suggest keeping an eye on that issue. As noted in the blog post you linked, Google has paused their deprecation of basic authentication for email until further notice, and although the blog post mentions Microsoft's previous position of "second half of 2021", they have since suspended their plans until further notice as well.

Cheers,
Daniel
