I'm running Confluence 6.8.1 and ssl proxy by nginx.

When I type in my server address and click next in app, it shows that

"unsupported version. time for an upgrade. you need confluence 6.8 or later to use this app."

APP version: 1.0.4

Platfrom: ios11.3

Hi Bai,

You shouldn't be getting that error message using the app version higher than 1.x and Confluence 6.8.1. Sometimes error messages are misleading so please make sure all the requirements are met as described in: Ready for mobile?

  • Your certificate must be from a trusted Certificate Authority
  • You can't use a self-signed certificate, or one issued by your own CA.
  • Your proxy must allow TLS 1.2 traffic (most do by default, but it's good to check your configuration), or iOS users won't be able to use the app.
  • We've updated the web.xml. If you've modified this file, re-apply your changes them to the new file, don't copy your old file over, or mobile won't work.
  • If your site is not accessible on the public internet, people will need to be connected to your network or VPN when using the app.

Thanks,

Ann

I have the same problem. The app v.0.1.38 (android) doesn't connect. But we have Confluence 6.9.1 version.
