In the past, Space Tools -> Reorder Pages offered to sort the pages A-> Z. Now, the button is gone.
Is there a workaround to manual ordering?

This is actually listed under our bug. The behaviour was fixed in your next minor version, Confluence 6.15.2:
CONFSERVER-58030 | Sort alphabetically button in the Reorder Pages page is not visible.
I have upgraded a local instance from 6.14.2 to 6.15.2 and the button is now present. If you plan to upgrade your instance, please have this in mind:
First try the upgrade on a test environment Backup both <confluence-home> and <confluence-install> folder Backup your database Schedule a downtime for Confluence
