Hello,
i want to create a page where user can create Solutions. Kind of a knowledge base.
there are 4 DropdownMenus with different values.
now i try to find a way to link them.
For example:
Menu1: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Menu2: a, b, c, d, e
Menu3: Y, X, Z
...
If the User picks 2 at Menu1, then are only a, b and c possible in Menu2 and Y and X in Menu3.
If he picks 4 at Menu1, then the Menu2 should only Show d and e and X and Z in Menu3.
Can somebody help me?
Chris,
I assume you're using an add-on to create your dropdown menus? Could you link me to the Marketplace listing of the add-on?
Regards,
Shannon
Hello Shannon,
no, actually it's not a add-on. Is there anything like this?
I've tried to make a Macros which create that Form.
Final Target should be:
The User should create a new Site, where the DropDowns are visible. There he can choose, which category his KnowledgeBase Entry is linked to.
My Problem now: How do i create that Kind of Macro or how do i create that Kind of Form.
Regards,
Chris

Chris,
There are a few add-ons that can provide dropdown menus in Confluence:
How exactly were you trying to create this yourself? Are you writing a User Macro, or are you developing an add-on?
If you're actually developing an add-on, then you might want to reach out to the folks at the Developer Community as they may have some ideas for you.

Shannon

chris
