Confluence HTTP/1.1 Unavailable after configuring anonymous access

Gus Johansson April 15, 2019

Hi,

This is my 3rd post. I havent received a reply yet and I have not yet been able to resolve the situation.

I am configuring public access (anonymous user access) according to: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/setting-up-public-access-934718729.html

Once I do so. The site crashes.

Step 1:

Step 2:

Result:

Logs are not saying anything. Service/process for webbserver is still running.

Quick fix: Restore earlier image of database (prior to above adjustment).

Hi!

I see that you faced that problem 5 years ago, but do you remember something more about that? Seems like I'm having the same issue

Figured out! The main reason was that Confluence started to return 302 on HTTP instead of 200, balancer F5 was configured like 302 is error status (i'm not very confident at terminology, but smth like that)
