Currently we are on Confluence Server 6.6.1. We are looking to upgrade to the latest version.
Can someone explain the version order on the download archives page? https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/download-archives
Not sure why it jumps from 6.6.13 to 6.12.4, then back to 6.7.1...
We are on Linux 64 bit so I know to install that content, but I am not sure the difference between Linux Installer 6.7.1 and 6.14.3.
Thanks,
Jonathan
Hey Jonathan,
The 6.7.1 release shouldn't be at the top of the page. We're looking into why that is currently.
The most recent releases are at the top of the page outside of the 6.7.1 fluke. The absolute most recent version as of today is 6.15.2, which you can get from the non-archive download page.
As for 6.6.13 - the 6.6.x line is tagged as an Enterprise Release which is still receiving bugfixes and patches. This is similar to the LTS release in other software like Ubuntu. Since you are already on a 6.6 version, you could reasonably upgrade to 6.6.13 to get the latest patches without seeing significant changes in the API or feature capabilities.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Daniel
