Issue Summary
  • Problem: Confluence Databases are incorrectly displaying an "offline" error message: "Looks like you’re offline. We’ll sync any offline changes when you’re back."
  • Scope: This is affecting all users across the entire site.
  • Impact: While data appears to mostly save, the persistent UI error is causing confusion and disrupting workflow for the whole organization.

Troubleshooting Performed
  • Verified that the internet connection is active and stable.
  • Confirmed the issue persists after refreshing the page.
  • Confirmed the issue persists in Incognito/Private browsing mode and after clearing browser cache/cookies.

Requested Action: Since the issue is organization-wide, please advise if a manual backend database re-sync for our instance to realign the cloud schema can help to solve "offline" issue OR you might have any other workarounds.

Kindly ask your support so that we can continue using Confluence Database functionality.

Hey @Maryna Khomenko ,

Does the message display continuously, or does it appear only occasionally? I've noticed a slight delay, and this message pops up when I switch tabs or windows and navigate back to the database. Although it usually goes away.

Anyway, if it still seems to be an issue (for all users on your site), I could request assistance from the forum support team to check it out.

That´s definitely Bug, but for me more a Visual Bug than Function Bug.

This 'offline' message appears like every 1-2 minutes and make the database frozen from editing for some seconds, it makes our work challenging :(
We are using databases for Data Mapping documentation (data models are appx 1K fields), and usually it contains 1-4 connections (entry links or backlinks) with other databases and Jira tickets details. 
All of this should be still bearable for classic Database functionality, but with our experience we might have to consider alternative tools.
If you know how to involve forum support team to check this 'offline' issue, it would be helpful.

You can try to reach out to Atlassian Support with a no-login option.

Other way you must wait till somebody Flag that for Atlassian.

 

  1. If you can’t access your account to open a ticket, use this no‑login path:
  2. Visit our support page: https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact
  3. Select “Pricing, billing and licensing.”
  4. Continue without logging in.
  5. Enter your email.
  6. In “How can we help you,” select “Other.”
  7. Skip the URL fields if they don’t apply.
  8. Describe your issue in “Your Question.” This will open a ticket with Atlassian Support.
