Confluence Complete re-install

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Uninstalling Confluence from Linux

   I have uninstalled Confluence a few time trying to get back the the install process I used yesterday.  I want to change my answer to JIRA user management.

   Each time I open the "new" URL 8090 I get a loging prompt not the setup page I got the first time.

   What data is not being clean off?

Hi Bernard,

Did you remove all the content of your Confluence home directory and restart Confluence again ?
