Dear All,
I'm trying to set a filter (or sort order) so that recent comments (newest first) always appear by default on a Confluence page, but I can't find that option.
I know you can click the comment icon to open the comments panel/dialogue and then apply filters/sort to show newest first there. However, I want this to be the persistent/default view — so recent comments are shown at the top automatically whenever I load the page, without having to open the comments panel and re-apply the sort every time.
Is there a way to make "newest to oldest" the saved or default sort for the page comments?
Hello @Eitzaz Haider
In Confluence Cloud there is currently no built-in way to save newest first as the default comment order for a page.
There is an open feature request for this:
CONFCLOUD-2587 Reverse ordering of comment lists. So today it is more a product limitation than a setting you can enable.
