Hi,
I feel like this just started recently.
I have a simple Heading 1 text inside a Page layout section that says something like "Logging".
When I publish the page, it adds these annoying little arrows on the right for scrolling, as if my text were too tall.
Shouldn't the section box just increase its height to accommodate this text? Also, even if I don't use letters like "g", "y", etc, it still displays these scroll arrows.
Any workarounds?
Thanks.
Hey Ryan,
This is interesting! I've been unable to reproduce this behavior on a couple different Cloud instances so far.
In your first screenshot, it appears as though the text doesn't have any header level applied. Was this just an example of the page section you were using before applying a header level?
As an aside, are you interested in trying out the new editor experience? We have information about it here and the Confluence team is keen on getting user feedback.
For the issue with the existing editor, I'd be curious in learning more about the following:
Looking forward to find a resolution for this with you!

Hi @Daniel Eads ,

No. It has "Heading 1" applied to it. It just looks small because the screenshot had to span the entire page width to show the arrows and there's nothing else in the screenshot for reference, so it looks small, but is using "Heading 1". Thanks.

The geek in me says, "Yes," but the safe-guy in me says, "Is this going to break all the work I've done in this Space for my company?"
1. Does this happen on new pages as well? Or is it only seeming to happen on pages that have already been around for a while?
This is a new page. I think I started this Space only last week.
2. What browser/OS combination are you seeing this on?
I'm using Chrome Version 72.0.3626.121 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10.
3. Do other people in your instance seem to have the same issue when they try the same steps?
I haven't asked anyone else yet. I'm still putting the Space together, so I haven't yet publicized the Space. I can ask someone else, though.
In the meantime, I've found that if I just start adding normal text in the same Section, then it isn't a problem. It's only a problem when I have a line of "Heading 1" text in a Section box all alone.
Thanks, Daniel.
