Hi,
It's been a couple of weeks now that when attempting to create notes within Confluence Cloud App inside Teams, when clicking on "Save" to generate the page, a message "Something went wrong. Please try again. If the issue persists please contact Atlassian support".
I attempted removing and adding again the app without success. Any other step recommended to fix this, or is this a known issue under resolution?
Hi Arek,
Thanks for your answer.
Previous time, November 2025, the problem was occuring when attempting to Publish the page via Confluence Cloud. I requested my company IT support to investigate the firewall as recommended, they could not find the issue. It suddenly worked again during January 2026 and I could never get explanation why.
This time the issue occurs earlier: I cannot even write notes. I can add the Confluence Cloud App to the meeting's apps, but when I click on "Start Notes" I have this error message. I checked: it occurs also when doing it on Teams Web.
Hello @Clara Jaquet
You reported similar Problem quite some time Ago.
How did it solved back then ?
Could you let us know whether Teams web behaves the same way and whether another user can reproduce it?
Sometimes Problems persist in APP but overall all new Microsoft Apps are Web-based so you should definitely give it a try in Teams Web
Best,
Arek 🤠

Seems that my answer was published above your question weirdly, sorry about that...

Did you try an Incognito window? If the problem disappears, it's likely not persistent. Before escalating, one more test would be helpful if easy.
Ask another user on your Atlassian site to add Confluence Cloud to a Teams meeting and select Start Notes. If the same error occurs, it confirms the issue is site/integration-wide, not account-specific.
