Confiform Smart Drop Down

Gabe Belknap

Hey folks.

I have a Smart Drop Down on my intake page, but for some reason it is passing to JIRA on creating the option ID, not necessarily the option selections name.

Can you please help me to understand if and how I can pass to JIRA the actual drop down name, not the ID it was given when loading up the options via a CSV?

Thanks in advance

Smart field in ConfiForms is just a bridge to another form.

You need to tell which property/field you want from the linked form

So, it needs to be something like

[entry.yoursmartfield.fieldyouneed]

I can suggest following solution to your problem, May be it works.

A) The missing fields are not present in the respective Create Issue Screen for that issue type in that project.

B) If the CSV import file has two columns with the same title (this can happen for fields that accept multiple values), the importer screen will limit the fields available to only those that can accept multiple values (such as labels, affected versions, Components, etc)
