Concurrent Users in Confluence

Is there way to find out max concurrent users of confluence over a period or time? or even just the current number of users?

I have started using JVM monitor java melody.

It shows the number of http sessions attached to each of the atlassian tools. I highly recommend it!

You can use a log query engine like Splunk to generate reports from your access logs or Google Analytics.
