Chrome:

When i click on upload after editing a file opened through the companion app,  a dialog box opens and asks me to confirm the that i want to load the page again and that my changes will be lost. I click on reload and the file is uploaded (with the changes)

--

However , some users do not get this second dialog box when they click on upload but the changes are still saved and the file is uploaded.

Question: Where can i deactivate this dialog box? i would rather save a click?

What should be the desired workflow here?

Regards

Hello Danyal!

Having one less click to perform an action is good and I can see why you want this. However, I was unable to replicate it with both Chrome and Firefox:

Chrome 74.0.3729.169

Firefox 67.0

I was using Confluence 6.15.2 and tried with *.docx and *.xlsx files. All tests gave me the expected behaviour. No reload warning was given and the file was correctly uploaded.

We could go ahead and try Another Browser and check if the behaviour is still the same? Also, if possible, try Incognito Mode In Chrome and try again. Here is how to use Chrome in incognito:
