Collapsible table that shows only the most recent rows

We maintain long tables (e.g., changelogs, meeting logs) that keep growing, and older rows clutter the page.

Is there a way to display only the last 10–15 rows of a table by default, with the older rows collapsed or faded out, and a "Show more" / expand control to reveal the rest on demand?

Ideally the row count would be configurable and it would work with the native table macro. If this isn't possible natively, is there a recommended macro or Marketplace app that does this?
