Dear all,
Here is my issue: I create actions for each of the retrospective meetings I have in my teams. I have created a page using the task report macro to gather all the actions. I used to be able to close actions directly from that page but now it doesn't work anymore.
What could be the issue?
I thank you very much in advance for your help
Best,
Valentine
Hello Shannon,
I'm using Confluence Cloud and I couldn't find a reference to a specific version.
Yes when I go to a page with a task report macro and check an action box there it is not saved and not marked as close.
I thank you very much in advance for your help.
Best,
Valentine
Valentine,
Thank you for confirming that you are using the Confluence Cloud version.
I'm testing this on my own instance, first by creating a page using the Meeting Notes template.
I add some actions to the page, assign them to myself, and save the page.
Next, I create a new page, insert Task Report Macro, and use it to display issues assigned to myself. I confirm that I can check off tasks here, and they are checked on the Meeting Notes page, and vice versa. I'm not able to replicate the behavior you're experiencing.
There is a current bug for the tasks not working properly all the time, which might be what you ran into:
You could try to work around it with the suggestions there, but if you still have difficulty, I would recommend raising a support request with the Cloud team. They will be able to have a look at the affected instance as well as have a look at your log files to see what might be causing it.
Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Regards,
Shannon

Valentine,
Which version of Confluence is this in reference to?
To confirm, when you go to a page which includes task report macro, you check the box next to the task, and it doesn't save?

Shannon
