Close account

Hello, I have spent over an hour trying to close my account and before I just abandoned it I would like to be able to close it and the proper way. I have not made any kind of transactions I have invited no users, I have no activities of any kind especially financial activities I have a free account so it really doesn't seem like there's a reason that it would be so hard to cancel it but it is. 

There's a page with a three-step method to close an account but I just cannot follow the links and get that right I've tried several times. 

Since I've done no business on your site and have spent their money or made any transactions of any kind I feel that it should be easy enough to close my account please help

First be advised that I edited your post and redacted your phone number and email. This forum is open to anybody on the internet. I suspect you don't want your email and phone number publicly available on the internet.

Second, be advised that this is a user community, where users of the Atlassian products help other users of the Atlassian products. As such we can offer advice, but we can't access your account directly.

Having said that, you mention that there is a page with a three step method to close your account, but you are unable to follow the links.

Please provide a link to the page you are referencing, and walk us through which steps you are executing and what results you are seeing.

Then we can offer you advice on how to proceed.

In absence of that there are a few generic things to know.

1. You have to cancel all your subscriptions to Atlassian products first. It can take some time for Atlassian to process these cancellations; i.e. "When you cancel a subscription, it's deactivated 15 days after the end of your current subscription period."
2. After those cancellations have been processed then you can delete your Organization.
