Checking plugin usage

Hi All

On our wiki instance we have around 70 plugins installed. Now we want to cut down on the plugins.

Is there any easy way of identifying which plugins are being used/ have been used extensively?

The easiest way as an admin would be to simply disable the plugin and se how many people shout. however, i am looking for any better alternative if at all available.

Might be useful although not all plugins are just macros.

FWIW, I created a macro that checks for "user macro" usage. It goes beyond what that blog entry does, at least for user macros:
