Changing usernames in Confluence

Hi Community,

due to a username change for all users in our company environment, we plan to update the usernames in Confluence.

I've tried it with this documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Changing+Usernames

Unfortunately it was not working.

The documentation seems to be incomplete or no longer valid with the current Confluence version.

I also followed the comments, there are many suggestions on which tables have to be updated.

Do you have some tips for updating the tables (and which tables) or any other experiences which could be helpful?

We are running Confluence 4.3.7 on a mySQL DB (mySQL Server 5.6)

Unforntunately this process is not supported by Atlassian so you are my last hope. ;)

Hi Philipp,

i used to do the same and it worked perfect.

did you recieved any errors or similar after running those querries?

i assume you performed a full reindexing after you made the changes and restarted confluence
