Changing daily update alerts to weekly

Is it possible to change the frequency of update alert emails? I have a user who is asking if he can set to receive weekly mails rather than daily ones.

What product was this related to? I did something for JIRA to digest notifications https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/19656 however it requires a source code change which seems to be a pivotal block on uptake.

Hi Geoff,

Currently no it's just the daily updates email that you can subscribe to. There is an Improvement request here where someone has asked for weekly updates, you might like to vote for and/or watch this issue.
