Changed my operating system from windows to Mac OSX

Hi,

Im about to buy JIRA and Confluence license yet i have a plan to change my working computer from windows to Mac OSX do i have to buy another license or i will be able to use the same license on the new laptop and migrate data from the old one to the new one?

Hi Shatha,

Adding to what Norman said, no, you don't need to buy a second license. You can go to your my.atlassian.com and generate a developer license or a trial one.

Looking at the Confluence migration guide, it looks like you can use the same license.   You just need to use your developer license first.  Shut down the old system and then replace with the production license.   If you are only using starter licenses, you probably need to buy a second license since a developer license might not be available.
