Changed Confluence Database edit permissions?

Hello,

Until last week, I was able to edit Confluence Database entries directly from an embedded database object on a page. Now, when I try to edit an entry that way, it's not possible anymore. I still can edit the entry if I open the database itself separately, just not through the embed on the page.

Did something change recently, or is this a bug?

It appears this was fixed!

I prepared a workaround for my UAT Testers (we use embedded database on a page for UAT Testing) yesterday.

Today as I am presenting the workaround, I discover that it is working like normal.

So it looks like those changes introduced a permission limitation. Is there a way to allow editing on embedded pages?

The editing in embedded objects should follow the same permissions as if you edit the page directly. If you can edit the page directly, but not the embedded page,  then that sounds like a bug.

Exactly, I cannot edit the embedded object. That's the main problem. Does it work for you normally?
