Change available space for confluence?

I have acess to both our own Jira and the Jira of a customer where the confluence pages look very different.

At our Customers Confluence sites are using all available space on one site which results in a bigger amount of information on one page without scrolling.

Our Confluence is always looking din A4'ish. Both sides of a text have a big white block wasting space i want to use.

Since I'm unable to find any setting to change this, Im in need for some hive knowledge.

Are both you and your customer using Confluence Cloud?

It sounds like your pages are using the New Editor, and the customer's pages were created with the old editor. If your site is new and Cloud, I believe you're using the New Editor by default.
