Cant edit/insert macros- Cant delete sites, manage permissions etc

I have some issues with confluence.. If i try to insert/edit a macro i get the following alarm message "Error while generating placeholder. Is the server available?". This error also appears on different computers. Any ideas what the problem is and how to solve it?

I was having a lot of funky errors in Confluence yesterday as well. The status site is down right now, so I can't check to see if there are current incidents. Are you self-hosted or on cloud?

Thanks for the fast answer. I don’t know why, but the error does not occur anymore. :=)
