Cant create or edit pages in confluence

We had an upgrade on the weekend to our confluence version and there seems to be an issue with creating / editing the pages. I've tried in both chrome and IE but the same issue occurs

Does the log file have any errors recorded?  Could you explain "can't create/edit" in more detail - describe what you are doing and what happens on-screen.

If it is an error where the opened page seems to just hang, could you try turning off collaborative editing (in the admin section) and see if you can create and edit without it.
