Cannot widen Confluence sidebar with Firefox

Using Firefox Quantum 68.0.2 (64-bit) When I attempt to drag the Confluence sidebar (the navigation one with the space tree in it) to make it wider, instead the text in the page (to the right) gets highlighted, and the sidebar is minimized.
Dragging it wider works correctly with Chrome.
Is this a known defect (Firefox? Confluence?)? Should I log this as a defect? If so, where?

Hello Martin,

Thank you for reporting this to us. I'm attempting to replicate this on Firefox (same version as yours) on my computer. I can confirm that I am able to shrink and expand the sidebar, but if I put my cursor over the minimized sidebar, then it will automatically expand for me to be able to read the text.

It's only when I minimize the sidebar to a point where it's too small to read that it minimizes automatically. I do not experience this when expanding the sidebar.

Would you be able to possibly record the behavior on your computer and share that with us? You can use something like screencast-o-matic.com to do that.

Otherwise, I would recommend making sure that all add-ons in Firefox are disabled. That way we can ensure an add-on isn't interfering with the behavior.

Regards,

Shannon
