Cannot remove the new 'Create' page/blog button

Hi,

I have updated the permissions for my confluence users and unticked the 'create contents/pages' however the create button remains and they can still create pages. I need to know how to remove the create button as I don't want users creating pages in any of the online documents.

I had a suggested solution from Atlassian about my permission settings.

It turned out that it was to do with my users being attached to two different groups which had different permissions.

I moved the users whom I didnt want them to access the create button into one group and set the space permissions accordingly for that group accordingly.
