Cannot login in Confluence through Jira User Directory after network migration

Fábio Cabrita July 12, 2018

Hello,

I had Confluence using Jira User Directory through app links without problem till now.

I have migrated the host where I had Confluence and Jira, and then I have changed JIRA app link, to a new IP, and then I enable recovery_admin in Confluence, to reset app link to the new IP too.

From both sides, both outgoing and incoming connections are connected but still, but still I cannot login through Confluence using Jira User Directory.

Anyone knows what is happening?

Hello,

Application links do not manage users, these are used to create data links, so that Jira Issues Macro would work on Confluence amongst other services.

For user management you need to go to User directories and re-create Jira User directory from there. You can do it on Jira or Confluence side. See Connecting to Crowd or Jira for User ManagementScreen Shot 2018-07-12 at 15.43.27.png

Yes, I totaly forgot that it was on Crowds.

Sorry for the noob question.

Thanks Igor!
