Cannot get Confluence License from Portal

RPizzutillo July 2, 2020

I need to get my Confluence license. I upgraded from 7.4 to 7.6 and it says it cant start because there is no license present, therefore I cannot get my server ID to plug into the licensing portal to retrive it.

To anyone else who has this issue.  Open you backup and view the confluence.cfg.xml

You can manually get your licenses at https://my.atlassian.com if you need them.

Yes, you can, but it asks for the server id which you can get by logging in as admin.  But my problem is, the server isn't even starting because of the license, so i cant login is admin.  And my license IS valid.  Vicious loop......

License Inconsistency: Confluence support and upgrades for your current license have expired.
You'll need to supply a valid license key. Confluence can't start without this.
If you have a new license, please enter it on this page and restart.
