Cannot edit a table and no editing toolbar visible

I cannot edit the table I was working on on Friday of last week. The editing menu for the table is gone. I cannot add rows, cannot fill boxes with color. I also cannot add a new table into the work space. 

I have cleared my cache and logged out and back in. I cannot figure out why I have a limited editing ability today.

Are you unable to edit other elements on the page, or is it just your table you're having problems with?

Do you by chance have your table embedded within another macro (e.g. panel/section/etc).  I find that Confluence sometimes does odd things when you start nesting macros.

Are you able to provide a screenshot or a quick video to demonstrate the issue?

I am not sure. I did not build this table or this page. This is what the top of the table looks like. as you can see there is no editing toolbar for the table itself. I do not have the plus sign on the side of the table to insert a row as I did before. 

I cannot send a video as the information within this table is sensitive.

Also, I can type into the existing table but I cannot edit it in any way- ex I cannot make the text bold, change color, indent, etc. 

So basically I can type into the existing table but I can make no other edits to the entire page.

It's not a direct fix, but one thing you can try is to copy the existing page and see if you can update the table on the copy.  

Another option would be to revert the page to a previous version and apply the edits again to see if that corrects things.

Hello @Katie Dunn 

If that's truly a Data Center, you should report it to your admin. There are actually a couple of possibilities regarding what could be wrong and what might happen.
