Cannot comment in Confluence

I'm trying to post a comment on some text in Confluence and I'm only seeing the option to create an issue in Jira. This particular page has some (what I believe to be) advanced formatting and macros, but I can't understand why I can't post a comment on normal text.

Any ideas?

Hi @Ashley Saliba,

Please check with the Space admin , whether you have comment permission on this space or not.

Looks like , you don't have comment permission on this space. So you are not getting comment option.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

Thanks for your reply but I DO have comment permissions on all pages. I just cannot comment on this particular page with the advanced formatting, macros, etc. Hence why I'm posting this issue.
