I have just imported a confluence space, and then when I try to access it via https://site-id.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/space-name/overview it says:
This seems a bit odd, since I am the one that just imported it. The owner of the account cannot access it either.
What to do?
These are the steps that worked:
Go to Confluence Administration: Click the gear icon (top right).
Navigate to Space Permissions: Find Settings > Security > Space permissions in the left-hand navigation.
Find Your Space: In the Individual Spaces list, locate your space (it may still appear here even if not visible elsewhere).
Recover Permissions: Click Recover Permissions next to the space. This will restore admin access so you can reassign permissions to yourself and your team 1 2 3.
If you’re already an admin for the space, you’ll see Manage Permissions instead.
During import, user/group relationships may not be preserved, leaving the space without visible admins or users.
The space exists in the backend, blocking re-import, but is hidden due to missing permissions 1.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.
How did you generate the export for the Confluence space?
Was the source instance another Cloud instance or a Server/Data Center instance?
Check the permissions for the space on the source system. What groups/users were granted access to the space? Do those same groups/users exist in the site where the destination Confluence instance exists?
If access was granted to specific users and those user's don't have access to your destination site and Confluence app, then you may be blocked from accessing the site.
Referring to the import into Confluence Cloud of a space exported from another Confluence Cloud:
https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/import-a-confluence-cloud-space/
This procedure will not import:
- user accounts, meaning it doesn't give users app access or add them to any groups.
<snip>
- any groups.
Any permissions settings (space or page) associated with groups will be lost during import, unless a group with the same name already exists in the destination site.

Try to access the Access settings for the space to see to whom access has been granted in the destination Confluence instance:
<yourBaseUrl>/wiki/spaces/<spaceKey>/settings/permissions/users
Your post tags indicate you are using a Free subscription. Is the destination Confluence instance a Free subscription? You may need to temporarily upgrade it to a Standard subscription so that you can change the access settings on the imported space to open it to the people who have access to the destination instance.

Hi, @Anthony Barry
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
It can happen, if your user had no permissions in space, which you imported.
In order to give yourself admin permissions, go to Confluence administration, then Spaces, and then press ... for required Space and select "Space settings". There you can assign permissions to your user.
