Can you watch a label?

There are several of us writing a blog series on Confluence.  We are each writing in our own personal space, but tagging the content with the same label.  We have had users ask if they can 'watch' the label to follow along with any posts.  Is this possible?

No, I am sorry, but we can't watch labels directly.  The best we can do is to kludge together something with RSS and REST APIs on a n external system.  I would love to be able to click "watch" on a label in Confluence.

Thanks... for all the good thing Confluence does, there are some really obvious things that is does not do -- this is just one of them.
