I am hoping to build out a single knowledge base where articles can be created such that our user community can see information within the articles tagged as <public> to enable self-service and not see information tagged as <private> to allow us to protect sensitive information like IP addresses and server names.
The intent is to avoid having to manage permissions page-by-page and to avoid having to create 2 pages on the same topic, 1 customer facing and 1 internal.
We are currently running Confluence 4.1.9
