Can we update Search to show the status, in particular verified badge

I want to see the status of a page in the search.

Why?

I want to identify provenance, we have 60 pages regarding Insurance certificates, 59 are duplicates in a project (Space), and 1 is the master in the Organisation. I want to see quickly that one page in particular is Verified.

Simple ask?

Regards

Marc

Hi @Marc Solomon

Did you try Confluence databases? You can configure columns to display all sorts of details about specific pages - including status.

You can have the master page in the DB along with the copies and basically see if the master page is verified and copies updated.

DB updates automatically, you can link to it, embed on any page..., so there'd be no need to search.

@Marc Solomon Have you tried applying filters in your search? When you click in the Search box at the top of your Confluence page and then select the filters icon, you get a list of items you can filter your search on:

I can't find a page describing the features of this box, but maybe:

  • You can select a specific status (though these are only the 5 page statuses you define in Space settings, not random statuses you might add in a Status macro)
  • The Verified checkbox will meet your needs
  • You could add a Label (master or something like that) on the master page and search based on that label
