Can the Confiforms Status field colors be overridden?

The Status filed type in Confiforms only allows for a selection of six different colors. Is it possible to add to this selection or modify the colors that are currently available?

The status fields use Atlassians AUI (Atlassian User Interface) framework. You could override the colors using some custom CSS. You could do that space wide using the space stylesheet in space administration or you could put a style macro on the page and limit it to a single page.
