Since I've googled myself into oblivion trying to find the solution to this with no luck yet, I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and to which log file I need to look at? I am restricted to installing apps via file upload and do not have the ability to install them from the marketplace.
Try this process again and look into catalina.out file.
This sometimes occur when you are running confluence behind proxy and file upload size for proxy is limited. If this is the case you open confluence port for system, and use system without proxy to upload plugin file.
After turning off the proxy on my Windows machine I was able to upload the file, thank you very much!
