Hello Dave,
First of all, welcome to the Community! It's great to meet you.
I understand so far that you are using Confluence, and you are having an issue with performing some tasks in the Universal Plugin Manager.
Can you just clarify with me what exactly you were doing at the time you receive the error? Is this the message you see in the UI, or are you seeing another message? Could you also screenshot the error as you see it? It can help to understand the situation surrounding the error.
Finally, I would recommend that you try putting Confluence in Safe Mode, if you are at least able to access the UPM UI itself. If not, you can try the manual method from How to manually remove malfunctioning add-ons.
I would also be interested to know your Confluence and UPM versions, so please provide that.
Regards,
Shannon
I did a little more research, and it appears I am having the same issue as described in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-58152

Hi Dave,
Thank you for letting me know that! When I had researched your error, a few different things were coming up in both our support ticket history and on the Jira instance, and so I needed to know a bit more about the circumstances surrounding it.
As for your case, you can confirm you recently migrated from Cloud to Server? Has the workaround fixed things for you?
Regards,
Shannon

Hi Dave,
It's hard to say exactly, since at this time the bug is still in its initial stages, I don't have a lot of information to go on yet. You can read about our prioritzation process by having a look at our Atlassian Server Bug Fixing Policy.
At this time, you can click This affects my team and watch the ticket. This way you will receive any updates on the bug, including changes or fixes.
Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Regards,
Shannon
