I am trying to add a calendar to my confluence page, but I am not getting the calendar option, is there a permission issue or role that I need to be added to? or do my confluence itself needs any update/upgrade ?
Hello
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Calendars are a feature of the Confluence Cloud Premium and Enterprise plans. If you are not on one of those plans (i.e. you are on a Free or Standard plan) you will not have access to that functionality and would have to upgrade your plan to get it.
If you are not sure which plan you are on, check with your Confluence Administrators.
Hello @heerproj and welcome 🤗
Yep @Trudy Claspill answer is the key point here
If you can’t find the Calendar option in Confluence Cloud, it’s certainly not a permission/role issue. Calendars are a feature of Confluence Cloud Premium and Enterprise only. If you’re on Free or Standard, the option simply won’t appear, no matter what permissions you have.
So the action is: check your current Confluence plan with your admins and if it’s Free/Standard, you’ll need to upgrade to use Calendars.
Have a great day ☀️ 🤠
